Satorique Cinema Live 15 – The best combined into one cinema speaker system
It is a speaker for audiophile and demanding home theaters, which can be combined in small to large home theaters. The speaker consists of two assemblies, which together form a two-piece speaker. The flat design, as well as the height adapted to the home theater, allows the speaker to be set up and operated even behind the acoustically transparent screen.
The speaker is developed as a front speaker, thereby we have married the highly resilient and particularly audiophile mid-high group of our Satorique 4 with a kick bass speaker, so that in all frequency ranges the speaker reaches best marks.
The Satorique Cinema Speaker System
Audiophile home theater system at Satorique level, expandable up to Ultra Sub cinema.
The Satorique Cinema Live 15 makes the start.
Satorique Kino Live 15
It is a speaker for audiophile and demanding home theaters, which can be combined in small to large home theaters. The speaker consists of two assemblies, which together form a two-piece speaker. The flat design, as well as the height adjusted to the home theater, allows the speaker to be set up and operated even behind the acoustically transparent screen.
The loudspeaker is designed as a front speaker, and we have married the highly resilient and particularly audiophile mid-high group of our Satorique 4 with a kick bass speaker, so that in all frequency ranges the speaker achieves top marks.
Harmony in the home theater
The particularly dynamic bass harmonizes with the above-average performance of the top part of the speaker. With this, we want to meet the desire for a potent home theater speaker where the top part is in perfect harmony with the kick bass.
By tuning high-quality crossover components, we can offer a home theater full-range speaker that achieves top performance in sound, dynamics and level stability.
The speaker has a flat design, so that it can be placed well behind the acoustically transparent screen. Due to the compact design of the top parts, an individual alignment of the mid-high unit can be realized very easily. With the later expansion to an ultra-sub cinema, no wishes should remain unfulfilled in terms of low bass.
The top part
The top part is basically the midrange and tweeter unit of the Satorique4, suitably optimized for the project. The baffle is supplied at no extra cost. A parts list for the remaining blanks is included in the assembly instructions. The damping of this cabinet is done with half a mat of Sonofil black each.
As with any Satorique, the turnouts are of course ready built. Since the turnouts do not come in the housing, the housing can be completely built up immediately.
Do not forget to break the edges before painting. The ingenious thing about the material is that pretreatment is no longer necessary. Everything is dry after half an hour. The coating agent is so rich that you can completely paint a home theater with one gallon. You also save money on primer, although the time factor should not be underestimated.
Even if you can't talk about varnishing here. The consistency reminds me more of tar.
The construction of the kick bass
As with the Satorique Live, a 15-inch bass speaker plays high up into the fundamental, although we placed the crossover frequency in the upper kick bass range. The kicker requires two Intertechnik HP100 bass reflex tubes, which should be installed near the floor. The bass driver sits fairly centrally on this speaker. The bass is placed on top of the cabinet.
With the kick bass cabinet it is important to use the front made of birch plywood. The screws simply pack better in the birch plywood. So you can use Spax screws. The rest can be made from MDF with the current rising costs in wood sales.
The complete assembly is exactly illustrated and dimensioned in the building instructions. Since the kickbass cabinet does not have any milling, you can simply saw it out with a jigsaw. Of course, we are happy to help out with the wood delivery. The cabinet is not difficult to build. Please do not mix up the inner braces, they are of different lengths. Depending on what is available, you will need a little Ponal joint glue, screw clamps or tension belts.
As with the top part, the gallon of EXOHYDE is used again. Very productive, it just does not get less.
Final assembly of top and bass
All crossovers find a place in the kicker housing and can be connected wonderfully from there. For the bass coil, you have the option of connecting it directly to the woofer crossover. I chose the variant on the floor and soldered it with two cables, which I connect to the woofer crossover. The reason for this is that the constructs like to change their location from time to time. So it is well kept in the floor.
The electrical impedance of the speaker for parallel connection of both parts is 4 ohms. The electrical side of the speaker is also designed to be amplifier friendly for current amplifiers.
The three cables from the top part are pulled out of the cabinet and into the kicker.
Then the crossovers for the high-mid and low-frequency are connected to the low-frequency cabinet. With our wiring diagram from the building instructions it is quite easy to wire the speaker chassis.
If you are unsure which cable comes from the kicker, you can take a battery to help. This way you can see which chassis is moving and you are on the safe side as far as the speaker connections are concerned. You have plenty of room to screw the crossovers into the cabinet.
The vividness can be adjusted via the damping according to the room acoustic situation in the home theater. One to three packs of Sonofil are loosely arranged around the driver.
around the driver. In our acoustic conditions, we get by with four mats.
The birch baffle even allows the bass driver to be tightened with a ratchet. With MDF, everything would quickly tear out. The advantage of the mounted bass chassis is that you can turn it back and forth and always have a new mounting point.

Satorique Kino Live 15 stands for audiophile high-end multi-channel.
We will report on the individual home theater experiences with the Satorique Kino.
Nevertheless, I would like to convey a bit in advance:
- The dynamic range inspires from the first moment. And in addition, this presence is offered, which does not leave out any nuance and informs the listener about everything that is played in the home theater.
- Precision and fine dynamics. Satorique, maximum sound in all frequency spectrums.
- Efficiency and level stability for power-hungry transistor amplifiers.
- A dynamic range that inspires.
This is pure goosebump feeling. A real acoustic volume is created to a degree as if you were there live. No home theater-goer would forgive a bad sound in their theater, but a bad picture would be more likely.
The kit contains:
- Rindome tweeter
- midrange driver
- 15" Eighteen Sound woofer
- High quality ready built crossover
- CNC milled front panels of the tops
- Cables
- terminals
- Bass reflex tubes
- Sonofil(TM)
- building instruction
